Kreilach Shot Hits Crossbar In Second Half For RSL

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – With an opportunity to equalize the match in the 55th minute, Damir Kreilach blasted a shot that hit the crossbar, keeping the 1-0 advantage with the LA Galaxy.
The beautifully played ball from Corey Baird was passed up by Jefferson Savarino as he let the ball crawl through his legs to set up Kreilach for the shot that was inches away from tying the match.
Kreilach has had recent success against the Galaxy as he notched a hat-trick against LA when they won 6-2 at home last season. This season, Kreilach has scored two goals after finding the back of the net 12 times last season in 33 games played.
RSL had a subpar first half but went into the second half as the dominant team in the first 10 minutes of the half.
Through eight games this season, the Galaxy have won six matches and both tied and lost one.
