15 Local Players Signed As Undrafted Free Agents

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The 2019 NFL Draft is in the books and 254 players have new teams and will make the jump to the pros. Five players from the University of Utah were drafted and one BYU and Utah State player was taken among those 254 names.
That leaves other players who have to showcase themselves in training camp that they are worthy of a roster spot as an undrafted free agent.
As of Sunday, 15 players from the state of Utah signed undrafted free agent contracts with NFL teams.
Former Utes
Offensive lineman Lo Falemaka will join the Seattle Seahawks along with fellow offensive lineman Jordan Agasiva. The Seahawks have loaded up on Utah players, having drafted Marquise Blair in the second round and Cody Barton in the third round.
Linebacker Chase Hansen will head to New Orleans as he has signed with the Saints.
Safety Corrion Ballard signed with the Carolina Panthers.
Mitch Wishnowsky was drafted in the fourth round to the San Francisco 49ers, Matt Gay was taken in the fifth round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jackson Barton is a seventh round draft pick by the Indianapolis Colts.
Former Cougars
Defensive end Corbin Kaufusi will head to New Orleans after signing a free agent contract with the Saints.
Quarterback Tanner Mangum has accepted invitations to minicamp with the Oakland Raiders and the Detroit Lions.
Former Aggies
Safety Aaron Wade has signed with the Cleveland Browns.
Wide receiver Ron’quavion Tarver will join the Chicago Bears along with tight end Dax Raymond.
Safety Jontrell Rocquemore is signing with the Cleveland Browns.
Safety Gaje Ferguson will go to Kansas City with running back Darwin Thompson, who was selected in the sixth round.
Offensive lineman Roman Andrus signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Wide receiver Aaren Vaughns signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Former Wildcats
Offensive Lineman Iosua Opeta was picked up by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Former Thunderbirds
Offensive lineman Marquez Tucker will join the Chicago Bears.
Tight end Logan Parker is going to the Kansas City Chiefs.
