SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Following their first round exit from the 2019 NBA Playoffs, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell received an uplifting tweet from Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade.
Mitchell had a strong performance in Game 4 in Salt Lake City with 31 points, including 19 points in the fourth quarter but only scored 12 points in Game 5 in Houston on 4-of-22 shooting from the field.
After the game, Mitchell said that he wasn’t great in Game 5 but will be better.

Wade just finished his 16-year NBA career with the Miami Heat. Mitchell has often been compared to Wade as far as style of player.
Mitchell finished the regular season averaging 23.8 points per game and 21.4 points per game in the five game series against the Rockets.
On December 2, the Jazz and Heat faced each other in Miami when Mitchell and Wade swapped jerseys.
