HOUSTON, Texas – Midway through the second quarter of Game 5 between Houston and Utah, the Jazz’s Rudy Gobert caught Houston guard James Harden in a mismatch under the basket.
With Utah up 35-32 with about four and a half minutes remaining in the first half, Gobert caught an entry pass from Ricky Rubio with Harden on his hip. The 7-1 center had a clear advantage on the 6-5 guard and turned around and slammed it home.
Dunking the ball was nothing unusual to Gobert in the regular season as he set an NBA record for dunks made with 306 in 81 games played.

In the first half, Gobert finished with nine points and eight rebounds while Harden had 10 points on 4-for-14 shooting.
Despite the strong half by Gobert, the Jazz trailed the Rockets 46-42 at the half thanks to a strong finish to the half by Houston.
The Jazz came into Game 5 trailing the Rockets 3-1 in the series and faced possible elimination.
