CINCINNATI, Ohio – Just one game after collecting his first MLS goal, Real Salt Lake striker Sam Johnson has his second.
After RSL’s Albert Rusnak gave RSL the initial lead with a goal that came minutes after dislocating his finger, Johnson doubled RSL’s lead in stoppage time at the end of the first half.
After a frantic sequence in front of the FC Cincinnati goal that included two saves by the home time on RSL shots at the frame, Johnson was finally able to finish the play by burying his shot.

Johnson, a native of Liberia, was acquired by RSL in the offseason. He came to a team that was looking desperately to shore up its attacking efforts.
Over the last two games, Johnson has made a large impact on his new team’s goal scoring approach.
