HOUSTON, Texas – For a brief moment in Game 1 of the Western Conference playoffs, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell lost one of his brand new signature sneakers.
Mitchell unveiled his first signature shoe with Adidas, the D.O.N. Issue #1, in the series opening-game against the Houston Rockets. The blue and red sneaker looked sharp, but unfortunately caused Mitchell a bit of trouble in the first quarter.
While driving the late in the first quarter, Mitchell’s shoe came off, forcing the second-year guard to play the rest of the possession with just one sneaker. He took a shot in the corner, but missed likely due to a bit of unbalance with just one shoe on.

As the Jazz hustled back on defense, Mitchell grabbed his shoe and took a moment to slip it back on while continuing to play.
Mitchell finished with 19 points in the loss to Houston in the first game of the first round of the playoffs.
The D.O.N. Issue #1 is expected to be available for purchase on July 5th with a price tag of $100.
