Orlando Cuts RSL’s Lead In Half With Goal By Nani

SANDY, Utah – Orlando City SC subbed in former Manchester United star Nani in the second half and he made Real Salt Lake pay with a goal late in the game.
Nani, a Portuguese superstar who played with Manchester United from 2007-15, entered the game in the 56th minute and struck with a goal in the 81st minute.
He scored on a free kick which his teammate, Dom Dwyer, earned in the attacking half, just outside the box. Nani took the kick and just cleared a wall of RSL defenders and put it past Nick Rimando, who managed to get a fingertip on it before the ball found its way into the goal.

The goal prevented Orlando from being shut out after RSL was lead 2-0 after goals by Sam Johnson and Damir Kreilach.
Orlando City came into the game looking to extend RSL’s misery. Prior to the matchup, RSL had lost four straight games.
