Gobert’s Record Breaking Jersey Being Displayed In Hall Of Fame

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – On March 25, Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert broke the single season NBA record for most dunks with 271 against the Phoenix Suns. The jersey that he wore in that game is now being displayed in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
Gobert signed the jersey before they sent it to the Hall of Fame to be displayed.

He broke the record with his first dunk of the game against the Suns in Salt Lake City. He broke Dwight Howard’s record that was set in the 2007-08 season. The NBA started tracking different shot types in the 2000-01 season.

Since then, Gobert has recorded 301 dunks, while Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is sitting in second with 279 dunks. Gobert leads the NBA in field goal percentage at 67 percent shooting.
The Jazz beat the Suns 125-92.
He is averaging 15.8 points, 12.9 rebounds and 2.31 blocks per game.
The Jazz will play their regular season home finale on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet.
