LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell made the Los Angeles Lakers defenders look silly with a huge euro -tep in the paint on his way to a layup.
Midway through the second quarter, with the Jazz trailing the Lakers by two, Mitchell drove the lane and found his path blocked by Los Angeles’ Jemerrio Jones. Mitchell euro-stepped to the right to create an opening and then laid up the easy basket.

After trailing by as much as nine, the Jazz came alive in the second quarter, thanks to 10 points in the quarter by Mitchell, to take a 59-54 lead into the midway break. He had 14 points total at halftime.
The Jazz are currently on a seven game winning streak as the regular season winds down.
Both teams are dealing with a bevy of injures. The Jazz started the game without the services of Ricky Rubio, Raul Neto, Kyle Korver, Derrick Favors and Dante Exum while the Lakers were without LeBron James, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma.
