REAL SALT LAKE
Savarino Nearly Ties Game With Shot-Hitting Post

SEATTLE, Wash. – With Real Salt Lake trailing the Seattle Sounders 1-0, RSL’s Jefferson Savarino nearly brought the score even with a powerful shot that clanked off the post.
RSL was in hole early after Seattle’s Nico Lodeiro scored in the 15th minute to give the Sounders an early advantage.
Playing from behind for the rest of the game, RSL got its best chance to tying up the score in the second half on Savarino’s boot that was just inches from hitting the twine.
