SEATTLE, Wash. – As has been the case far too often this season for Real Salt Lake, they conceded the first goal of the game early as the Seattle Sounders’ Nico Lodeiro found the back of the net in the 18th minute.

Lodeiro took a volley from Christian Rolden and drove into the net near the left post to give the undefeated Sounders an early advantage against RSL.

The Sounders are off to a great start this season with a 3-0-1 record to begin the 2019 campaign.

RSL, on the other hand, has struggled a bit to start the year with a 1-3-1 mark going into the match against Seattle. Counting Lodeiro’s goal RSL has allowed 13 scores this year while only striking five times.

The game between the Sounders and RSL is being streamed live on and the KSL TV app.
