SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – For the second consecutive game, Utah Jazz rookie Grayson Allen looked like a savvy veteran in the first half.
After scoring 10 points in the first half against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, Allen was even better on Friday against the Sacramento Kings.
With several of his teammates out with injury, Allen took the court midway through the first quarter and quickly made a huge impact on the game.

He connected on all eight of his shots to register 19 points and set a new career high in just 10 minutes of action. His previous career high came on Wednesday when he finished with 14 points.
Overall, it’s been an up-and-down rookie campaign for Allen, who was selected by the Jazz with the 21st pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
