SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – KSLSports.com’s Bracket of Movies continues with a Round of Eight matchup of the 1 and 8 seeds.
Top-seeded Hoosiers beat No. 32 Tin Cup in the first round and No. 16 Moneyball in the second round. The 1986 film starring Gene Hackman, Barbara Hershey and Dennis Hopper is about a coach with a checkered past and a local drunk train a small town high school basketball team to become a top contender for the championship.
No. 8-seed Remember The Titans knocked off No. 25 Any Given Sunday in the first round and No. 24 White Men Can’t Jump in the second round. The classic 2000 film with Denzel Washington, Will Patton and Wood Harris is a true story of a newly appointed African-American coach and his high school team on their first season as a racially integrated unit.
