SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It didn’t count on the scoreboard, but Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell drew the biggest cheer of the night on an amazing windmill dunk during a dead ball in Monday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.
The whistle had already blown on the play due to a foul by Charlotte’s Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, but Mitchell still provided a thrilling jam. He caught a playful alley-oop pass from teammate Royce O’Neale and windmilled the ball before throwing it down.

It was the second impressive dunk of the night by a Jazzman. Earlier in the game, Rudy Gobert hammered down a reverse alley-oop on an assist by Ricky Rubio.
Mitchell has led the Jazz to a fifth-place standing in the Western Conference playoff race by averaging 23.4 points per game.
