SANDY, Utah – Just as things looked terribly bleak for Real Salt Lake, midfielder Jefferson Savarino came up with a big strike against FC Dallas.
Savarino scored his first goal of the season on a boot from outside the box in the 31st minute after things started terribly for RSL.
FC Dallas scored in the first minute of the game to put RSl behind the 8-ball early. Later on in the 16th minute, striker Damir Kreilach was given a red card after a bit of embellishment by Carlos Gruezo.

Forced to play with just 10 men for the rest of the match, Savarino’s goal breathed new life into the home club and reenergized the crowd at Rio Tinto Stadium.
Unfortunately, just a minute after Savarino scored the equalizer, FC Dallas took the led again on a goal by Paxton Pomykal.
