SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert is known as one of the NBA’s best rim defenders, but sometimes he gets caught underneath a posterizing dunk.
Against the Washington Wizards, Jabari Parker got the best of Gobert with a thunderous one-handed flush.
Parker’s dunk was so good, that many of his teammates on the bench started falling all over themselves in disbelief.

The Wizards forward has had a bit of a local interest in years past. While being recruited as one of the top high school players in the country, Parker, who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, went to BYU on a recruiting trip. He ultimately chose to attend Duke and was drafted second overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2014 NBA Draft.
After being acquired from the Chicago Bulls on Feb. 6, Parker is averaging 14.6 points per game with the Wizards.
