Joe Ingles Dishes Out Career-High 14 Assists In Win Over Lakers

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – In the runaway win over the Lakers, Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles handed out a career-high 14 assists in the 115-100 win.
Ingles had a strong start with 9 assists in the first half. He broke his previous career-high of 11 assists in the fourth quarter. He nearly recorded his first ever triple double as he finished with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 14 assists, but posted his ninth career double-double.
The Jazz fans inside the arena knew that Ingles was close to a triple-double and started chanting “We want Joe” late in the game.
It was the fifth time this season that Ingles dished out 10 assists or more. Utah recorded 34 assists as a team.

Ingles put up a fantastic performance on a special night as it was autism awareness night at Vivint Smart Home Arena, which was centered around the Australian playmaker with his son Jacob being diagnosed with autism in February.

He and other Jazz teammates wore shoes that reflected the colors and symbol for autism awareness. The Jazz raised $1.2 million that will go to the Autism Community.
