SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –’s Bracket of Movies continues with a matchup of the 7 and 26 seeds.

The 7 seed, Slap Shot, depicts a minor league hockey team in a rundown town that resorts to heavy violent and generaly goonery to gain popularity. The film stars Paul Newman as the player/coach of the Charlestown Chiefs, who recruit the reckless Hanson Brothers to toughen up the squad and bring infamy to the team.

Slap Shot faces the 26-seeded The Bad News Bears, starring Walter Matthau as the drunken manager of a little league baseball team filled with screw-ups. Thanks to a pair of ringers, a hard-throwing female pitcher and a Harley Davidson-riding troublemaker, the Bears turn their season around and end up facing the best team in their league for the championship.
