MyKayla Skinner Scores Perfect 10; Red Rocks Finish Second In Pac-12 Championship

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – On the biggest stage of the season, Utah gymnast MyKayla Skinner came up with a perfect score on the floor during the Pac-12 Championships. The Utes finished second with 198.025, while UCLA was crowned conference champions with a 198.400 score.
The Red Rocks were finishing their floor rotation when Skinner finally nailed a perfect 10 and Utah had a season-high score of 49.700 on the floor.

Macey Roberts notched a career-high 9.95 floor routine and Kari Lee tied her career best with a 9.925 score.
The Red Rocks were narrowly trailing UCLA when they entered the final event, 148.625 – 148.575.
On the vault, Skinner ended her fantastic evening with a 9.95 on the vault. Kari Lee added a 9.9 vault score to the Red Rocks comeback.
Despite trailing by just 0.05, entering the final event, Utah hit the 198 score mark for the first time this season. UCLA sealed the conference championship with two perfect 10 scores on the floor.
Skinner finished second in the all-around and won her third Pac-12 floor title and tied for first on the vault.
