Jimmer Fredette Makes Season Debut With Phoenix Suns

SACRAMENTO. Calif. – It’s officially Jimmer Time, again.
Former BYU star Jimmer Fredette entered the game for the start of the second quarter in the Phoenix Suns game against the Sacramento Kings and thus made his first appearance on an NBA court since 2016.
After leading the college ranks and winning national player of the year honors with BYU in 2011, Fredette was selected with the 10th overall pick in that summer’s NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings.

After failing to stick with the Kings, Fredette bounced around having stints with the Chicago Bulls, New Orleans Pelicans and New York Knicks. Most recently, he had achieved stardom in China as a member of the Shanghai Sharks.
After averaging over 35 points per game over two seasons in China, Fredette signed with the Suns on Friday. The deal is for the remainder of the 2018-19 season with a team option for next season.
