Jazz Dominate Boylen’s Bulls In 31-Point Win

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Utah Jazz completely dominated the Chicago Bulls en route to a 114-83 victory.
In the win that featured a Jazz lead as large as 38 at one point, the Jazz totally outclassed the Bulls, coached by former University of Utah head coach Jim Boylen.
The entire Jazz starting lineup plus a couple of reserves finished in double-figure scoring. Rudy Gobert led the way with his 58th double-double of the season with 21 points and 14 rebounds. The Stifle Tower also blocked four shots in the win. He jammed the ball seven times in the win and tied Dwight Howard’s 2008-09 mark for most dunks in a season with 269.

Playing just 26 minutes, Donovan Mitchell had 16 points and eight rebounds. He shot just eight times and converted on five tries, including an explosive dunk in the second quarter.
Lauri Makkanen led the Bulls with 18 points in a losing effort.
Key Stats
The Jazz were the stronger team all around, including on the glass, outrebounding the Bulls 58-44. They also were dominant in the assists category with 27 assists to just 16 by Chicago.

The win capped off a 3-1 stretch away from home for the Jazz. They currently are tied for the fifth spot in the Western Conference playoff race with Oklahoma City and the LA Clippers with a 43-30 record.
Jazz To Host Jimmer, Suns On Monday
The Jazz will return home to face the Phoenix Suns on Monday at 7 p.m. The Suns recently made headlines and caused a fair amount of buzz by signing former BYU superstar Jimmer Fredette over the weekend. Fredette is expected to be in uniform and play in the game on Monday.
