No. 9 BYU Knocks Off No. 6 Pepperdine

PROVO, Utah – The BYU men’s volleyball team pulled off another win over another Top 10 opponent with a 3-1 victory over Pepperdine.
The Cougars won the first two sets, 28-26 and 27-25 before allowing the Waves to take the third set 25-22.
In the fourth set, the Cougars closed out the Waves with a 26-24 victory capped off by an attacking error by Pepperdine.

In the match, BYU’s Gabi Garci Fernande led the way with 20 kills.
Michael Wexter led the Waves with 19 kills over the four games.
The win was a bit of revenge for BYU, which had lost to Pepperdine 3-0 earlier in the season.
The Cougars will next host the BYU Invite in Provo beginning with a match against Princeton on March 21 at 7 p.m. The match will be broadcast on BYUtv.
