Three Weber State Players Receive Big Sky Honors

OGDEN, Utah – The Big Sky Conference released their individual awards and All-Conference teams. Weber State has three representatives receiving recognition for their play this season.
Junior guard Jerrick Harding has been selected to the Big Sky first team. He finished the regular season second in the conference and 22nd in the nation in scoring with 21.9 points per game. Harding scored in double figures in 26 of their 28 games. He scored 20 points or more in 18 games and 30 points or more in 4 games this season.
The Wichita, Kansas native is 14th all-time in school history with 613 points this season. Harding leads the conference in free throw percentage at 87.1 and second in steals with 1.7 per game.
Through his career, Harding has recorded 1,592 points, which is sixth most in school history in 91 career games. He is first in school history in free-throw percentage, ninth in free-throws made and 10 in made three-pointers.
Senior Brekkott Chapman was named an Honorable Mention after he averaged 12.5 points per game and is second in the conference with 8.6 rebounds per game.
Junior guard Cody John was also named an Honorable Mention after recording 15 points per game this season and scoring in double figures in 26 of 31 games this season.
Weber State is the No. 4-seed in the Big Sky Tournament in Boise, Idaho. They will face No. 5-seed Portland State on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. on Pluto TV.
