POCATELLO, Idaho – Weber State’s season is fading quickly at the worst possible time. The Wildcats dropped their third-straight game in a 78-74 road loss to Idaho State.
With the defeat, Weber State slipped to fourth in the Big Sky Conference standings with two games to play before the conference tournament.
The game featured back-and-forth action for the majority of the contest until the Bengals pulled ahead midway through the second half. Weber State cut the lead to just two on a made 3-pointer by Brekkott Chapman with seven seconds to play.

Unfortunately for the Wildcats, Idaho State’s Brandon Boyd knocked down a pair of foul shots with two seconds on the clock to ice the game.
The Wildcats had four players in double-figures but it wasn’t enough to overcome a major discrepancy in second chance points. In that category, the Bengals blew them away 22-2.
Idaho State was led by Balint Mocsan, who turned in 20 points in the win.
