SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz forward Kyle Korver was red hot from deep against the New Orleans Pelicans, racking up four made 3-pointers in the first half.

At the halftime break, the 39-year old Jazzman had already accounted for 15 points on 5-for-9 shooting with four triples, including a buzzer beater at the end of the first quarter.

He did roll his ankle in the second quarter, but got it taped up and was ruled available to return.

At halftime, the Jazz led 61-51.

With a four-game winning streak going into the matchup against New Orleans, Korver had been a major factor in his team’s success.

Against the Denver Nuggets last Thursday, Korver was sensational, tying his season-high with 22 points and knocking down six 3-pointers in just 22 minutes of action.

Throughout his career, Korver has been one of the NBA’s all-time greats at shooting the ball from deep. His 2,320 made 3-pointers going into Monday’s game ranked fourth all-time, behind Ray Allen, Reggie Miller and Steph Curry.
