INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Former stars from the Beehive State continue to impress at the 2019 NFL Combine.
Cody Barton, a 2019 All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention selection, impressed the scouts with 30 reps on the bench press. Barton was just one rep behind USC’s Gustin Porter and Norte Dame’s Drue Tranquill for the top mark by a linebacker at the Combine.
Barton’s impressive showing was put up just one day after former Weber State offensive lineman Iosua Opeta wowed the crowd with 39 reps on the bench press. Later in the day, former Utah punter Mitch Wishnowsky turned in an impressive 40-yard dash time.
