Kanab’s Sam Orton Drills Buzzer Beater In 2A Quarterfinals

OGDEN, Utah – The game was tied in the final moments of the 2A quarterfinals between Kanab and North Summit, when junior Sam Orton hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to send Kanab to the semifinals.
Orton finished with a game-high 26 points to lead the Cowboys past No. 2-seed North Summit.
Parker Brown had 22 points for North Summit and Quinton Jones added 15 points and 13 rebounds.

The game was played at the Dee Events Center in Ogden. Kanab will face Parowan in the semifinals. Rowland Hall and Layton Christian Academy are in the other matchup for a chance to play in the state championship game.
