BYU, Dixie State Will Play At LaVell Edwards Stadium In 2022

PROVO, Utah – The BYU Cougars and the Dixie State Trailblazers have announced that they will play each other in football on November 12, 2022 at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
It will be the first every meeting between the two schools. Dixie State will be in their second season as a Division I program and will be an FCS Independent.
The Trailblazers will finish their next two seasons as a Division II program before making the jump in 2021.
BYU is coming off of a 7-6 season, with a win over Western Michigan in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
In 2022, BYU has scheduled games with Utah, Baylor, Oregon, Wyoming, Utah State, Arkansas, Liberty, Boise State, Dixie State, East Carolina and Stanford.
Dixie has scheduled just Southern Utah, Weber State and BYU for 2022, all games are on the road.
