Lillard Knocks Down Six 3-Pointers To Spark Big Run For Team LeBron

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The pride of the Weber State basketball program made his fourth All-Star Game appearance suiting for Team LeBron in the 2019 edition of the game.
The current Portland Trail Blazers star, who was named a first-team All-NBA selection last season, was named to the reserves unit of the game after being selected by the head coaches of the NBA’s Western Conference.

He was drafted by LeBron James to play on the same squad as the Los Angeles Lakers superstar.
In the game, Lillard came off the bench and showed his skills from long range, knocking down 3-of-7 shots from downtown in the first half.

In the second half, Team LeBron mounted a huge run after trailing by 18 points at one point. Lillard was a key part of that run, knocking down two 3-pointers from way beyond the arc to tie the game up at 127-all.
From there, LeBron’s team dominated the rest of the way in a 178-164 victory.

Lillard finished with 18 points while shooting 6-for-17 from beyond the arc. He did not take a single shot from inside the 3-point line.
Golden State’s Kevin Durant was named the game’s MVP.
