Kuzma Loses To Doncic In The Skills Challenge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former Utah Ute Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers lost the first round of the Skills Challenge to Dallas Mavericks star rookie Luka Doncic.
The Skills challenge is a part of the NBA All-Star Weekend.
Kuzma failed to beat out the Mavericks young star in the Skills Challenge by missing the three-point shot at the end of the obstacle twice.

The Skills Challenge started in 2004, the state has had 4 different locals, with 3 of them winning at least once.
The last participant from the state was Gordon Hayward in 2017. The last player to win the Skills Challenge was Damian Lillard and Trey Burke in 2015.
Other results from the first round of the Skills Challenge was Boston Celtics’ Jayson Tatum defeated Memphis Grizzlies guard Mike Conley. Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young knocked off Sacramento Kings’ De’Aaron Fox and Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic beat Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic.
Tatum defeated Jokic in the second round, while Young knocked off Doncic.
The Celtics forward beat Young in the championship round by hitting the final three-point shot from half court.
