CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Former University of Utah basketball star Kyle Kuzma has been making it look easy during the Rising Stars Challenge as part of NBA All-Star Weekend.
The former Ute and current Los Angeles Laker led all scorers at halftime with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting. He also has drained three 3-pointers and has thrown down some thunderous dunks.
Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell has also been playing well in the showcase, scoring nine points on 4-for-5 shooting with some big time dunks as well.
At the halftime break, the USA squad was leading the World team 83-71.
