Harding, John Carry Weber State To 86-71 Win Over Northern Arizona

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – After a disappointing loss to Southern Utah in their previous game, Weber State bounced back with a road win over Northern Arizona 86-71.
Jerrick Harding and Cody John carried the Wildcats by combining for 54 of their 86 points. Harding had 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting after scoring just 8 points in their loss to SUU. John posted 25 points on 9-for-13 shooting from the field.
Israel Barnes added 11 points for Weber State.
Northern Arizona was led by Ted McCree with 17 points off the bench to go with his 5 rebounds. Bernie Andre poured in 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Weber State shot 54 percent from the field while the Lumberjacks nailed 42 percent of their shots. They held a 17-7 advantage on points off of turnovers and 16-4 on fast break points.

The Wildcats led the entire first half that would lead to their biggest lead of the game to that point of 19 at the half, 46-27.
Weber State already had two players in double figures, led by Jerrick Harding with 15 points and Cody John pouring in 13.
WSU made 18-of-33 of their field goals for 55 percent, while NAU made just 30 percent of their shots on 9-for-30 attempts.
The Lumberjacks improved in the second half by outscoring the Wildcats 19-15 in the first seven minutes of the half to trail 61-46.
Weber State cruised the rest of the way with their biggest lead reaching 22 points before ending the game with a 15-point victory.

The Wildcats improved to 15-9 on the season and 9-4 in the Big Sky Conference. They are currently in third place in the conference standings.
Weber State will return home on Thursday to face Montana at 7 p.m. on Pluto TV channel 235. The Grizzlies picked up the win on January 26 in Missoula 75-68. They are 16-6 and 9-2 in conference play, winning their last six games.
