Orem’s Puka Nacua Will Not Announce Decision On National Signing Day

OREM, Utah – Star wide receiver Puka Nacua from Orem High School, will not announce where he will play college football on National Signing Day.
Nacua was expected to announce his decision with teammates Cooper Legas and Hunter Hill but KSL Sports learned that the Nacua family needed more time to talk and break down the information.
The star receiver racked up 26 touchdowns during his senior season while averaging 166.9 yards per game. He helped Orem win back-t0-back state championships. Nacua is a four-star receiver by 247 Sports and is the No. 1 recruit out of the state of Utah. He was named Mr. Football by the Deseret News.
Nacua earned MVP honors at the Polynesian Bowl in Hawaii.

He originally committed to USC on June 18, 2018 but has since needed time to think about his future.
Nacua made official visits to USC, Oregon, UCLA, Utah and Washington. He has until April 1 to sign with a team in order to be eligible to play in the fall.

He is the younger brother of Utah wide receiver Samson Nacua.
