SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It was the lowest scoring Super Bowl in history and in the opinion of many, one of the most boring NFL title games ever.

Some of Utah’s sports icons couldn’t resist sharing their opinions about the game, the halftime show and the commercials on social media.

Mitchell Was Cheering For L.A.

Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell revealed a bit of L.A.-fanhood, cheering for the Rams to win the game.

It was a punting exhibition in the big game and Mitchell showed his appreciation for the craft.

In the end, however, Mitchell was as unhappy as The Office’s Michael Scott when dealing with human resources.

Scalley Likes Defense, NFL 100 Commercial

Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley weighed in on the highly defensive nature of the game.

The former Ute great-turned coach also enjoyed the NFL’s 100 commercial.

Jazz Twitter Yawns During Game

The game was such a snoozer that the Jazz twitter account took to social and claimed basketball’s superiority over football.

With most of the team all together to watch the game, Jazz guard Ricky Rubio joined Maroon 5 in performing at halftime.

Petke Cheers For Giants?

Real Salt Lake head coach and New York native Mike Petke was ready to watch the game…with a New York Giants t-shirt on.
