Utah Sports Stars React To Super Bowl LIII

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – It was the lowest scoring Super Bowl in history and in the opinion of many, one of the most boring NFL title games ever.
Some of Utah’s sports icons couldn’t resist sharing their opinions about the game, the halftime show and the commercials on social media.

It was a punting exhibition in the big game and Mitchell showed his appreciation for the craft.

In the end, however, Mitchell was as unhappy as The Office’s Michael Scott when dealing with human resources.

Scalley Likes Defense, NFL 100 Commercial
Utah defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley weighed in on the highly defensive nature of the game.
Those who aren’t entertained by this game, may not be able to fully appreciate the unbelievably high level of defense that is being played tonight. Thing is, both of these offenses are really good. It’s just that defense wins championships!!

The former Ute great-turned coach also enjoyed the NFL’s 100 commercial.
NFL with the best commercial so far! Not even close!

Petke Cheers For Giants?
Real Salt Lake head coach and New York native Mike Petke was ready to watch the game…with a New York Giants t-shirt on.
Haven’t slept more than 5 hours a night for 2 weeks so Will probably be asleep by kickoff. But I still gotta rep my team no matter their record. Enjoy the Super Bowl. pic.twitter.com/OnnBocITun
