Weber State Tops Montana State 93-84 For Fourth Straight Win

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Weber State Wildcats picked up a good road win as they got past the Montana State Bobcats 93-84.
The Wildcats had four players reach double figures in scoring, led by Jerrick Harding with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Brekkott Chapman poured in 21 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 4-for-5 from downtown.
Zach Braxton chipped in a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds, Israel Barnes scored 10 points.
Weber State shot 54 percent from the field and hit 12 three-pointers to finish with 48 percent from beyond the arc.
Montana State was led by Tyler Hall with 28 points on 10-of-21 shooting from the field and 5-for-12 from downtown. Keljin Blevins added 17 points and Harald Frey had 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Wildcats never trailed in the game as they outscored the Bobcats 44-35 in the first half. There was a lot of offense in the second half with both teams dropping 49 points.

Weber State improved to 13-6 overall and 7-1 in the Big Sky, they remain in first place in the conference with their four game winning streak. They will finish their two-game road trip on Saturday when they face the Montana Grizzlies at 7 p.m. on Pluto TV channel 237. Montana is 12-6 overall and 5-2 in conference play. They were the preseason favorite to win the conference according to the media poll.
These two teams played just once last season with the Grizzlies picking up the win at home 75-57.
