Donovan Mitchell Signs On With Kobe Bryant-Backed Sports Drink

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has signed a partnership deal with Body Armor Sports Drink, which is backed by Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Bryant has more than 10 percent of the company when he invested $6 million in March of 2014. The popular sports drink is now worth $200 million.
Terms of the partnership between Mitchell and Body Armor has not been disclosed. The second year Jazz guard has a history with Kobe Bryant as a role model and a person that Mitchell would keep in touch with. Bryant is excited about the partnership with Mitchell.

Mitchell was asked by Body Armor for his introductory video, who he would want to play basketball with and his answer was obvious. Kobe Bryant.

He is having a great stretch right now, averaging 29.7 points per game over the last nine games. Mitchell also has signed with Adidas in 2018 and will get his own signature shoe that was unveiled in December and will be available for purchase around the Playoffs.
