Weber State, Dixie State Announce Three-Game Football Series

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Just after announcing a move to play as a FCS independent beginning in 2020, Dixie State already has a big game on its schedule.
It was announced that Dixie State and Weber State will play in a three-game series for the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons.
The Trailblazers also announced games with Northern Arizona and Southern Utah as they continue to build out their schedule.

The first game will take place in Ogden at Stewart Stadium with the next game taking place in St. George before returning to Ogden in 2022. Exact dates of the games were not announced.
The two teams carry just one game of history between them. The Wildcats defeated Dixie State, 44-7 on September 13, 2008 in Ogden.
The Wildcats just capped off one of the best seasons in school history with a 10-3 final record and a trip to the FCS Playoffs, where they were defeated by Maine in the quarterfinals.
The Trailblazers, who announced a move to Division I on Friday, finished their 2018 season with a 7-4 record.
