Derrick Favors Climbs To Fourth On Jazz Rebounds
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Derrick Favors is leaving a lasting impact as a Jazzman. After Friday’s win against the Lakers, the 10th year forward is now fourth in rebounds in Jazz franchise history.
Favors’ 3,979 boards puts him one above Greg Ostertag’s 3,978 and he now trails John Stockton’s 4,051 by 72.
Mark Eaton holds the second spot for the Jazz with 6,939 and leading the Jazz is the Mailman who has 14,601 rebounds.
Favors is averaging 7.0 rebounds per game in 2018-19 and if he keeps up the current pace, he would pass John Stockton for third all-time on February 1st against the Atlanta Hawks.
Congrats, Derrick, on passing Greg Ostertag to move into #4 on the list of most rebounds in franchise history!
