LOGAN, Utah – The Utah State Aggies lost in heartbreaking fashion to Fresno State 78-77 in a Mountain West Conference contest.

For 39:35 of the 40 minute contest, the Aggies held the lead, with the advantage as big as 12 in the first half. Fresno State led for just five seconds, but it proved to be the final seconds as the Bulldogs stole the win on their final shot of the game.

Fresno State’s Braxton Huggins hit a 3-pointer with five seconds remaining to take the lead at 78-77.

After calling a timeout, Utah State’s Sam Merrill attempt a 3-pointer that just missed as the Aggies saw what would have been their second Mountain West Conference win slip away.
