Two Utah Football Players Transferring

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Two football players from the University of Utah announced on their social media accounts that they will transfer.
Wide receiver Siaosi Mariner posted his plans on leaving the program and will be a graduate transfer, which means he does not have to sit out a whole season before playing again.

Mariner will be a senior in 2019. The 6-2 receiver from Tustin, California played in all 13 games during his freshman season in 2016 and had 15 catches for 183 yards and two touchdowns. His sophomore season in 2017, he played in 11 games and improved his numbers to 20 receptions for 393 yards and one touchdown. This past season, he had 17 receptions for 209 yards and one touchdown.
In his three-year stint with Utah, he collected 52 receptions for 785 yards and four touchdowns in 36 games.
Defensive end Chris Hart announced on his Twitter page that he will leave the program as a graduate transfer.

His freshman season in 2016, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida product played four games while recording a fumble recovery. In 2017, Hart had three five tackles, one tackle-for-loss, one sack and and one fumble recovery. Last season he played in four games but didn’t record any statistics.
