USC Rolls Past SUU, 91-42

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – For the first three minutes of the game, the SUU Thunderbirds hung with USC. After that, not so much as the Trojans rolled to a 91-42 victory.

The game was tied at 6-all before the Trojans got cooking and cruised to a 39-25 lead at halftime. Along the way, USC reeled off a 24-6 run to really separate themselves from the Thunderbirds.
The second half was tough for the Thunderbirds as they were clearly facing superior competition and were outscored 52-23 in the half.
USC’s Nick Rakocevic led the game in scoring with 21 points.

Andre Adams led Southern Utah with 13 points in the 42-point loss.
After an extended break, the Thunderbirds will return home to host Montana State next Saturday at 2 p.m.
