SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Utah Utes remained unbeaten in the Huntsman Center this season after a 76-62 victory over Northern Arizona.

The game started slowly for Utah as the Utes allowed the Lumberjacks to be in the game early. More than halfway through the first half, NAU led 19-18 after a layup by Brooks DeBisschop. Utah then made back-to-back baskets, a jumper by Donnie Tillman and then a 3-pointer by Sedrick Barefield to kick off a 20-11 run to end the first half. At the break, the Utes led 38-30.

From there, the Lumberjacks were never able to get back into it as the Utes put up another 38 points in the second half to roll to the 14-point victory.

By The Numbers

Barefield, again coming off the bench, led the Utes in scoring with 15 points. He also added six assists.

Riley Battin and Timmy Allen also finished in double figures, Battin with 13 points and Allen with 12.

As a team, the Utes played an extremely clean game with only seven turnovers and 18 assists.

Next UP

Post-Christmas, the Utes will host No. 6 Nevada at home next Saturday. The game will tip off at noon and be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
