SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The USOC has selected Salt Lake City for a bid to host a future Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. The next open games is in 2030.
City, state leaders and residents reacted to the news on Social Media.
The man who was an crucial part of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games and recently elected Utah Senator Mitt Romney was happy to hear the news.

Governor Gary Herbert tweeted a picture of the reaction of Jackie Biskupski when she received the call from the USOC.
