Utahns Showing Out At National Finals Rodeo

Las Vegas, Nev. – Utah cowboys are having a good showing at the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas. With three rounds remaining, a couple of Utahns are still in the running for a world title.
Caleb Bennett of Tremonton is currently in second place in the bareback event after 7 rounds. Caleb finished second in Wednesday’s round 7 with a score of 88. Kaycee Field, a four-time bareback world champion didn’t place in the top six on Wednesday and is fifth in the world standings.
In the saddle bronc event, the Wright bothers from Milford are in the hunt for a world title. Ryder was number one in the world but was bucked off on Wednesday night for no score. Ryder’s brother Rusty scored 84.50 on his horse on Wednesday , finished tied for second in the round which helps him continue the chase for a world title as Rusty is currently sitting thirds in the world standings.
Joe Frost of Randlett, Utah is chasing a world title in bull riding. Frost was 5th in the world standings coming into Wednesday night, but he was bucked off his bull named “Bud. ”
