OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – With just two seconds on the clock and Oklahoma City’s Paul George shooting free throws, Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell subbed in and made a splash at the end of the first quarter. Mitchell rebounded the missed second free throw, dribbled past George and hurled a shot from beyond half court. It was nothing but net.

It was Mitchell’s first basket of the game and cut the Thunder’s lead to just eight. The Jazz trailed at the end of the first 30-22.
