UVU Blows Out NAU, 98-78

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. β Utah Valley wrapped up an Arizona road trip with a convincing 98-78 win at Northern Arizona.
Nearly every UVU player who checked into the game contributed points in the win. The Wolverines were led in scoring by Isaiah White, who had 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting with three 3-pointers made. He was also the teamβs leading rebounder with seven boards.

Connor Toolson also had a strong game with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting.
Close First Half, Not-So-Close Second Half
Connor MacDougall had an aggressive first half, scoring 10 points in the opening period. He made both of his field goal attempts and knocked down six-of-seven free throws to help the Wolverines take a 47-44 lead into the halftime break.
The Wolverines started the second half on a 16-4 run to take a 63-50 lead. From there, the Wolverines didnβt look back on their way to a blowout win over the Lumberjacks. They built what was at most a 25-point lead in the second half en route to a 20-point victory.
The Lumberjacks were led in scoring by Carlos Hines, who had 21 points with five 3-pointers made.

UVU will next face in-state foe Weber State next Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on KJZZ.
