Utah State Tight End Dax Raymond Accepts Senior Bowl Invite

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State University announced that tight end has accepted an invitation to play in the 2019 Senior Bowl on January 26 in Mobile, Alabama.
“I am proud to wear my Utah State helmet and represent Aggie Nation one more time in the Senior Bowl,” Raymond said.
Raymond is the 21st player from Utah State to be selected to the Senior Bowl, last player was linebacker Kyler Fackerell in 2016.
The junior tight end announced on Twitter last week that he plans to forgo his senior season and enter the NFL draft following the 2018 season.

Raymond missed four games this season with a broken hand but was still named Mountain West Conference Honorable Mention. He caught 25 passes for 335 yards and two touchdowns. The Timpview High School graduate has 70 receptions for 863 yards and three touchdowns in his career at Utah State.
The Senior Bowl is college football’s premier senior showcase event, annually featuring the nation’s best senior collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects on teams coached by NFL coaching staffs.

Utah State will face North Texas in the New Mexico Bowl on Saturday, December 15 at 12 p.m. on ESPN.
