Utah Announces 2019 Football Schedule

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The University of Utah and the Pac-12 Conference announced the 2019 football schedule. Utah finished the 2018 regular season with a 9-4 overall record and 6-3 in the Pac-12 and lost in the conference championship game.
Utah will have two bye weeks (Oct. 5 and Nov. 9) and will play seven home games and five road games.
Here is the 2019 football schedule for Utah:
August 29, at BYU (Thurs.)
The Utes beat BYU at Rice-Eccles Stadium 35-27 in 2018. Utah is 58-31-4 against the Cougars all-time.
September 7, vs. Northern Illinois
Utah beat the Huskies in their only meeting between the two schools in 2018 with a 17-6 win on the road.
September 14, vs. Idaho State
This will be the third all-time meeting between the Utes and Bengals with Utah winning both contests in 1944.
September 20, at USC (Friday)
The Friday night clash will be the Utes Pac-12 opener in 2019. Utah beat USC this season 41-28 at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Utes are 3-5 against the Trojans since joining the Pac-12 and 0-4 at the Coliseum.
September 28, vs. Washington State (Homecoming)
Washington State beat the Utes at home this season with a 28-24 victory. Utah is 2-4 against the Cougars since becoming conference opponents and have lost four straight to Washington State.
October 12, at Oregon State
Utah did not play the Beavers in 2018 but did win 19-14 in 2016 on the road. The Utes are 4-2 against Oregon State in conference play.
October 19, vs. Arizona State
The Utes lost to the Sun Devils 38-20 in Tempe this season. They are 2-6 against Arizona State and 1-3 at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
October 26, vs. California
Utah did not play the Golden Bears this season. They lost 28-23 in 2016 on the road and are 2-2 against California including a 2-0 mark at home.
November 2, at Washington
The Utes lost their two meetings to Washington in 2018 with a 21-7 defeat in the regular season and a 10-3 loss in the Pac-12 Championship game. Utah is 1-6 against the Huskies since becoming conference opponents and are 1-2 in Seattle.
November 16, vs. UCLA
Utah knocked off the Bruins in the Rose Bowl 41-10 in October. The Utes are 5-3 against UCLA since joining the Pac-12.
November 23, at Arizona
The Utes beat the Wildcats 42-10 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in October. They hold a 4-4 record against Arizona and 2-2 in Tuscon.
November 30, vs. Colorado
Utah picked up a 30-7 win in Boulder in November. They are 6-2 against the Buffaloes in the Pac-12 and are 3-1 at home.
