Real Salt Lake To Play Japanese Club In Hawaii For Preseason Action

SANDY, Utah – For the first time in the club’s history, Real Salt Lake is set to make a trip to Hawaii.

RSL will be competing in the 2019 Pacific Rim Cup in Honohulu along with fellow MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps and V-Varen Nagasaki and Iwaki FC of Japan.

In the first game of the mini-tournament, RSL will play Iwaki FC on Feb. 8th with the winner moving on to play the winner between Vancouver and V-Varen Nagasaki.

It will be the first trip to Hawaii for RSL, who has played preseason games in Argentina, California, Florida, South Carolina and Arizona.
