Wolverines Set New School Record For Home Wins With Victory Over Denver

OREM, Utah – The Utah Valley Wolverines never relented in a 98-75 wire-to-wire rout of Denver. The win was the 18th straight home victory for UVU, a new school record.

It was never much of a competitive game as the Wolverines jumped out to an early 14-5 lead. From there they kept up the throttle the whole way en route to a 23-point victory over the Pioneers.

Connor Toolson led the way with a season-high 26 points with five 3-pointers made. TJ Washington also had a good night with 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting while Jake Toolson contributed 17 points.
The Pioneers were led by Ronnie Harrell Jr., who finished with 20 points with four 3-pointers made.
Up next for UVU is a trip to Pac-12 territory where they will face the Arizona Wildcats Thursday at 7 p.m. in Tucson. The game will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.
